Blog Names - Blog Hop

Grab My Tea Badge

Welcome to Tea Time with Marce

It is Book Blogger Hop Time.  Thank you Jennifer for Hosting such a fun networking meme.  Go over to join this week at Crazy For Books

This week's question comes from Jen B. who blogs at I Read Banned Books

"Do you ever wish you would have named your blog something different?"

I love my blog name, I love tea, love to entertain, if I lived near blogging friends I would totally have book tea parties.  What is funny to me though is that I love the gritty, scary, murder, drama, thrilling, keep me on the edge of my seat books, not really a 'tea' feel right, lol.  It suits my personality though, I am totally girly, love the purple, pinks, shoes, jewelry etc but I like to take risk (bungee jumping), watch horrors and thrillers (favourite all time - Silence of the Lambs and my job is employee relations at a hospital (enough drama here, the good, bad and ugly)

When you stop in on my blog I want you to feel comfortable have tea with me - Tea Time with Marce
I also like that it has my name included, so you don't have to remember my blog name and my name it is all wrapped nicely together.

My favourite cup of tea is Earl Grey, what is yours?

Thanks for stopping in, I look forward to networking with my blogging friends and finding new blog(ger)s.

  1. I would love to visit with you and have tea. I know we would talk for hours since we have similar likes in books, so it might have to be a few cups of tea. And your blog name does have a welcome feeling to it.

  2. Stopping by on the Hop! I like a good mint tea with a bit of honey. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get together for a Blogger Tea Party?

  3. Stopping on the blog hop. Being producers of tea in Sri Lanka, my favourite is the normal black tea! a rather plain tea.

  5. I love your blog name too :-) While it doesn't scream books, it has that welcoming atmosphere that I find on your blog.

Lately I've been loving Lady Grey tea. Just a bit milder than the Earl Grey.

I'd love to have tea with you and talk books!

  8. I'm much more of a coffee drinker, but I do enjoy peppermint tea. I just put up a review of a book that had a quote on the back describing it as “Silence of the Lambs meets The Bourne Identity”. Perhaps you should check it out. I think you'd like it.

  9. If I lived close by you sound like you would be someone fun to hang with and we like the same sort of novels..LOL. One of my favorite movies is Silence of the Lambs also!!! Anthony Hopkins sure gives me the willies when I watch it..hehe. :)

I am not a huge tea drinker, so if I drink it I am afraid its just your normal regular unsweet tea..lol

  17. I love the name of your blog!!! If I lived near you we would meet for tea and discuss books and much more! Currently my favorite tea is Harney's Queen Catherine. If you like Earl Grey, you must try Harney's Paris Tea. I have introduced that tea to several friends.

  22. Hey sweetie. I do my best to spread the sun shine. ;) Your blog title really does fit you. Book tea parties would be fun. Nothing like tea and people sharing things they have in common. I love books with dark themes too. Silence of the Lambs is one of my favorite books as well. Okay I'm babbling now. See you soon. Keep it shiny!

  23. I love your blog name - it's easy to remember :). Silence of the Lambs and The Shawshank Redemption are tied for MY favorite movies of all time, too! I see you're reading Night Road; I've heard that it's a very good read-I hope you're enjoying it. My favorite tea ... well, depends on my mood - Tazo Chai and Earl Grey are my faves mostly, but sometimes I like fruity teas too. :)

  26. I love the name of your blog, I probably noticed it on CMash Loves To Read's blog and came by for a visit and I just keep coming back. I love tea, but now days I drink decaf tea, to help fight my insomnia I experience as I get older. Thanks for the nice comments you left on Cheryl's Shining Star post today, and of course just Gigi is fine with me, it is my all time favorite movie, also, I just watch it again a week or two ago, it was on TCM one evening.
