Want to read this one with us? June Book choice

Book Summary

Carey, Beth, and Pam had succeeded at work but failed at romance, and each resolved to have a baby before time ran out. Just one problem: no men. Carey took the first bold step towards single motherhood, searching anonymous donor banks until she found the perfect match.

What she found was not a father in a vial, but a sort of magic potion. She met a man, fell in love, and got pregnant the old-fashioned way. She passed the vials to Beth, and it happened again. Beth met man, Beth got pregnant. Beth passed the vials to Pam, and the magic struck again. There were setbacks and disappointments, but three women became three families, reveling in the shared joy of love, friendship, and never losing hope.

Would you like to join the Bookclub, started by Paula over at Tome's Devotee, go here, I like that participants get to choose the books, this will be my 2nd time choosing.  If you do not want to join but would like to read this one with us, I welcome you.  Q&A usually goes up approx the 27th of the month.

  1. The book sounds and looks good. I thought they where sisters. ;)

  2. This sounds like fun, and the book sounds interesting. BUT, I have so many books waiting on my bookshelf to be read, I will pass this time around. Thanks for visiting my blog today.

  3. I am looking forward to reading this Marce, you pick some great books! You didn't have to switch, but thank you. Read The Surgeon though, it was very good :)

  4. Hey Marce. I haven't talked to you in forever. The book your talking about in this post sounds interesting. It sounds like a great book club choice.

BTW- The answer to your question is yes I did like Black Swan. It's crazy in a good way, and has really cool visual effects. I was a bit jealous of the main character when she went dance massage therapist. I want a dance massage therapist. Lol! Keep it shiny dear!

  5. Hi Marce, sounds like a good one, but I won't join in, so many books so little time...! By the way, the first in the Dexter series is Darkly Dreaming Dexter :-)

  6. This book sounds SO good. I've been meaning to read it for ages. Sadly, I don't own a copy.

  7. My June is already overbooked, or I'd join you for this one-- it sounds like it could be a good read, and I'll be interested in hearing if it lives up to the potential!

  8. This sounds really good. I'd like to join, but I'm so far behind on my reviews and other books right now. Have fun!

  9. Book Bloggers are so busy :-) I am happy to hear a few are interested in this book though. I had it on my Wishlist list and every time I go into this store they have copies of this book almost saying 'choose me, choose me' I hope it is great, seems to be a great discussion book.

  10. Of course, Marce, I'm in! I'll be ordering on Kindle or Amazon very, very soon. I can't wait to read it!
